About CALTCM's Annual Meeting It is our great pleasure to introduce you to the 2025 CALTCM Summit for Excellence taking place October 23-25 in San Diego, CA! As California’s premier annual gathering of leaders in long-term care, this Summit brings together clinicians, administrators, policymakers, and thought leaders who are passionate about transforming care for older adults. As always, CALTCM’s Annual Meeting provides the place to go for cutting-edge education and streamlined accreditation in the post-acute and long-term care field, all within the state of California.
This program has been designed to engage and benefit direct care practitioners - all members of the post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) interdisciplinary team and administrative leadership. Engaging content is available for the entire team - allowing for a dynamic and experiential learning experience. In addition to the live programming, this year's program will be supplemented with pre-recorded on-demand sessions (additional CME/CEU hours); please visit our accreditation page for CME/CEU details.
Program Agenda:
TARGET AUDIENCE
Physicians, advanced practice nurses, gero-psychiatrists, pharmacists, licensed nurses, administrators, and other members of the interdisciplinary team who care for patients and residents in PALTC.
Reasons to go: (Note: Bring 3 or more from your facility and save $$$!)
- CALTCM is the only association based in California that is solely focused on serving the needs of healthcare and administrative professionals in PALTC.
- CALTCM is the recognized voice of medical leadership in PALTC.
- At the same time, the CALTCM Annual Meeting curriculum is designed to engage and benefit direct care practitioners - all members of the interdisciplinary team and administrative leadership.
- CALTCM’s Annual Meeting focuses on getting the right professionals engaged in the right conversations that help California-based PALTC professionals:
- Stay current on best practices to be the driver of quality, patient safety, and person-centered care,
- Keep ahead of compliance needs across the continuum of care,
- Learn ways to recruit for and optimize performance of their interdisciplinary teams, and
- Engage in dialogue related to risk management and overall corporate strategy.
- Note: CALTCM recognizes that CMD-accreditation predicts higher quality of care for long-term care facilities (JAMDA, October 2009) and has intentionally designed its CME process to help Medical Directors achieve and maintain CMD-accreditation. For example, CALTCM CME credit segmentation is aligned with that of AMDA/ABPLM (i.e., Clinical Medicine and Medical Management segments).
