2025 CALTCM Summit for Excellence Accreditation Statement

 

Continuing Medical Education (CME) 

The California Association of Long Term Care Medicine is accredited by the California Medical Association (CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 
California Association of Long Term Care Medicine designates this Blended Learning Activity for a maximum of 21.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 
 
American Board of Internal Medicine MOC Statement (ABIM)
Successful completion of this activity enables the participant to earn 21.0 Practice Assessment points [and patient safety / medical knowledge MOC credit] in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the sponsor’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ABIM for the purpose of granting the MOC points. (For attendees who request ABIM MOC credit: Attendee information will be shared with ABIM.)
 
Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
The California Association of Long Term Care Medicine (CALTCM) is a provider approved by California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP16690. This activity has been approved for up to 21.0 contact hours.
 

Certified Medical Director (CMD)

  • Live Program Credit Statement: This CME activity has been pre-approved by the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) for a total of 6.25 clinical hours and 9 management hours toward certification as a Certified Medical Director (CMD) in post-acute and long-term care medicine. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit actually spent on the activity. The CMD Program is administered by the PALTmed Certification Council (https://paltmed.org/certification).
  • ON DEMAND Credit Statement: This CME activity has been pre-approved by the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) for a total of 3.75 clinical hours and 2 management hours toward certification as a Certified Medical Director (CMD) in post-acute and long-term care medicine. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit actually spent on the activity. The CMD Program is administered by the PALTmed Certification Council (https://paltmed.org/certification).
National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB)

The National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) has approved this program as follows:
