Beginning January 1, 2022, all continuing medical education courses shall contain curriculum that includes the understanding of implicit bias. The CME team at California Medical Association has developed a set of standards, best practices, and additional resources to assist CME providers to implement the statutory requirements referenced in AB 241 (implicit bias required in CME) and AB 1195 (cultural competency required in CME). |
