CALTCM’s Transition to Executive Director

As CALTCM grows and changes, we are aligning our infrastructure to match the growing need for internal support. Dominic Lim has done a fantastic job as our Interim CEO, and we thank him for his dedicated service as he transitions into CALTCM’s Vice President position. Dominic will continue with volunteer work for CALTCM and will provide consultant services for projects best utilizing his skill set. Dominic is truly a wonderful person, and we are so honored to have him serve on our Board of Directors with his vast knowledge, skills, and volunteer work dedicated to CALTCM.

In line with CALTCM’s bylaws, we are transitioning to have an Executive Director rather than a CEO. Barbara Hulz has been with CALTCM since 2008 and has advanced into our Executive Director role as of December 2022. Barbara is truly the person that interfaces with all of us and personifies the enthusiasm and commitment to CALTCM’s mission, to improve the quality of care for older adults.

With these changes, CALTCM will also add a part-time administrative assistant. Rachel Rios will continue to consult on the on-demand continuing education modules and other educational programs. The BOD hopes everyone will thank Dominic for his service, congratulate Barbara, and continue to support our collective efforts to be the medical voice for older adults in California.
