Improving the Quality of Care in California's Long Term Care Community

by Heather D’Adamo, MD

Post-Acute and Long Term Care is hard! Don’t do it alone. Join us May 17-19, 2018 for our Annual conference and find new ways to strengthen your community through teamwork and collaboration and to work smarter through clinical and administrative updates.

New this year, instead of our popular but brief medico-legal case, we have added an entire Pre-Conference on Thursday night focusing on medical-legal issues, which will include cases presented by attorneys who handle cases in Nursing Home care. They have seen it all, so you don’t have to.

This year we have made our education more accessible by scheduling Friday as a full day of team-focused, active-learning sessions, intended for your whole IDT.  We continue our tradition on Friday morning with the 3rd Annual Best Practice Summit, featuring amazing best practice projects from around the state as well as a mentored session for your own QAPI development. Bring your team and come prepared to share ideas.

Friday afternoon this year is a very special, creative, active adult learning session - all about making our work environments safer and more enjoyable through collaboration and culture changes. Come with your team or build your network and take these practices back home.

This year, we are revving up the clinical focus as well: Saturday features hot topics, deep-dives into managing complex patients, problem-solving Q&A sessions and panel discussions with the experts, as well as updates on the regulatory landscape.

Come and join us. The California Long Term Care community is stronger and smarter when we work together.
