About the CALTCM Leadership Award

The CALTCM Leadership Award recognizes individuals that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made outstanding contributions in the areas of education, practice, administration or policy in long term care. This leadership is characterized by results of increased visibility of critical issues, creation of solutions to significant problems, and positive impacts on the overall quality of care in long term care. 

Criteria:

• Member is in good standing with CALTCM or AMDA.

• Exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution in Education.

• Exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution in Clinical Practice.

• Exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution in Impacting Policy (State or Federal) of Long Term Care Services.

• Exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution in Administration

• Exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution in Creating Meaningful Solutions to Problems in Long Term Care.

• Exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution to the Quality of Care in Long Term Care Institutions.
